Sweet potato chips

Sweet potato

Sweet potato chips with sunflower oil and salt

Ingredients
1 large sweet potato
Sunflower oil
Salt

Instructions
Thinly slice the sweet potato and place on the side.
Place approx. 2 cm of sunflower oil in a pan and heat. You can also use a frying pan if you prefer. The oil is hot enough when you see little bubbles if you add a piece of potato to the oil.
Add the sweet potato to the oil and fry for around 3 minutes. Keep a close look on the chips, because it is all about timing here! When they start to curl slightly they are almost ready. When done, take the chips out of the oil with a sieve and place on kitchen towel. Let the chips dry and add some salt. Now you have a great snack to share with friends.
