Carrot beetroot smoothie

By Anne Leave a Comment

Very little is needed to make a happy life ❤

Smoothie with carrots, beetroot, apple, almond milk and ginger

Ingredients
2 carrots
1 large fresh beetroot
1 large apple
Splash of almond milk
Small bit of ginger

Instructions
For the orange layer grate the carrots and add some almond milk. The amount depends on how thick you want the mix to become. Add a little ginger to this mix to spice it up. Be careful not to add to much! Mix all ingredients and the orange layer is done.

For the red layer grate the beetroot and cut the apple in chunks. Put in a bowl together with some almond milk and mix till smooth.

When both layers are ready start with the orange layer and top of with the red layer. For a Bloody Mary effect let it stand for a while so the top layer slightly sinks to the bottom.
