Sesame carrots

By Anne Leave a Comment

Even the smallest one can change the world

Salad with carrots, sesame seeds, garlic, onion, vinegar, thyme, olive oil, salt and pepper

Ingredients
2 bunches of Dutch carrots
Hand full of sesame seeds
2 cloves of garlic
1 large red onion
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
Fresh thyme
Salt & Pepper

Instructions
Get the baking plate out of the oven and preheat at 200 degrees Celsius.

Remove the foliage from the carrots just above where the carrot starts. Wash the carrots and half them. Place the carrots in a large dish. Mix the olive oil, red wine vinegar and sesame seeds and rub it into the carrots.

Chop the red onion in rings and press the garlic. Place in a bowl and put aside. Remove the thyme from the branches and put on the side as well.

Place the baking paper on the plate and spread the carrots evenly over the plate. Place in the oven for around one hour. After half an hour add the onion, garlic and thyme and you can enjoy your tasty sesame carrots.
