Chicory boats with apple, almonds, raisins, lemon, cinnamon, olive and parsley
2 stumps of purple chicory
Hand of almonds
1 tbsp raisins
Pinch of lemon
1 tsp cinnamon
Put a bit of olive oil, lemon and the cinnamon in a bowl and give it a good stir. Peel the apple and add to the mix.
Heat some olive oil in a pan and shortly bake the almonds and raisins. Add this to the bowl as well.
Remove the back ends of the chicory and the leaves carefully. Wash the leaves and let them dry on some paper towel. When dry place the chicory on the plate and spread the ingredients in the bowl on top. Now your boats are ready to set sail.
