Spicy salad

By Anne Leave a Comment

Pepper

Spicy salad with paprika, pepper, tomato, onion, parsley, paprika powder, harissa, lemon, mixed salad and pomegranate seeds

Ingredients
1 red paprika
1 red chili pepper
1 handful of tomatoes
2 red onions
2 cloves of garlic
Freshly chopped parsley
½ tsp harissa
½ tsp smoked paprika powder
½ lemon
100 g mixed salad
Handful of pomegranate seeds

Dressing
2 tbsp olive oil
1 clove of garlic

Instructions
Press the juice of half a lemon into a bowl. Chop one red onion and add to the lemon juice and place on the side.
For the dressing put two tablespoons of olive oil in a small bowl. Press one clove of garlic and add to the bowl as well. Stir the content briefly and let it stand for a while.
Cut the paprika, onion, garlic and chili pepper and place in a pan. Fry for around 5 minutes on high heat. After 3 minutes add the harissa and smoked paprika powder to the vegetables.
Place the salad on a plate and sprinkle some of the garlic dressing on top. Add the vegetables and raw onions and decorate with a hand of pomegranate seeds and freshly chopped parsley.
This recipe is fairly spicy so feel free to serve with some plant based yogurt to keep it cool 🙂
