Stewed pears

What pears your up?

Stewed pears with homemade dressing

Ingredients
8 pears
1 bottle of red current juice (250 ml)
250 ml water
1 cinnamon stick

Stewed pears

Dressing
125 ml coconut yogurt
1 banana
A pinch of vanilla powder
Some shredded almonds as topping

Instructions
Peel the skin from the pears. Leave the pears whole including the stalk. Place in a pan and add the red current juice, water and cinnamon stick. Boil for around three hours on low heat.
Prepare the dressing by adding the ingredients to a bowl and mix with a mixer.
Place the pears on a plate and add some of the dressing. Top with the shredded almonds and you have a beautiful dessert.
