Oatmeal with apple from the oven

By Anne Leave a Comment

Even if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces, I would still plant my apple tree

Oatmeal with apple from the oven with raisins, almonds, plant-based milk and lemon juice

Ingredients
1 cooking apple
1 handful of raisins
1 handful of almonds
1 tsp cinnamon
50 g oatmeal
200 ml plant-based milk e.g. rice milk
Pinch of lemon juice

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Wash the apple and remove the core with a corer. Cut the apple into round slices. Place the apple slices onto baking paper and sprinkle a bit of lemon on top together with some cinnamon. Place in the oven for around 15 minutes. Add the raisins and almonds to the baking tray for the last 7 minutes.
In the meantime, heat the rice milk with the oatmeal. When ready, add the milk and oatmeal to a bowl and place the hot apple with raisins and cinnamon on the top. Your delicious hot breakfast is now ready.

Tip: do you prefer a cold apple breakfast? Try this recipe, tastes like apple pie 👌
