By Anne Leave a Comment

christmas dates

Are you nuts?

Christmas dates with nuts, shredded coconut, peanut butter/almond spread and chocolate

Ingredients
Handful of dates
A bar of vegan & gluten-free chocolate

Toppings/filling
Depends on your preferences for example:

Topping and filling
Pistachio
Walnuts
Almonds
Shredded coconut

Christmas dates

Filling
Peanut butter
Almond spread

Instructions
Remove the pit of the dates, cut from top to bottom and fill with a spread or topping of your liking.

Melt a chocolate bar au bain-marie and roll the filled dates in the chocolate. Decorate the dates with the same topping as the filling. For example use crushed peanuts, when you used peanut butter as a filling. Feel free to make any combination of your choice. Refrigerate for at least one hour till your chocolate Christmas balls are ready to eat.

Tip: with a ribbon or little hooks, you can hang them on your Christmas tree as well!
